Fionn looked out over the waters
From where the enemy had come before
Now dead and strewn around him
From across the water the came no more..
And the ancient Celtic gods looked down
Some proud, and more with fear
For equam to any god this warrior appeared
If not as great, than very near...
And in time would he shake the heavens
Cast them from where they in pleasure dwell
No he would not do as they feared
But that he wouldn't they could not tell.
Men knew no fear of him at all
Though of him tales were told
For all men met death with as much zest as life
It was the way in those times of old...
Celtic Gods and fighting men
Are now but stories in a book
There are those who say on foggy mornings
You can see them still fighing in the mist if you look...
All things pass, each in its own time
Hastened by the errors of man
This way it will be till the world itself ends
It will be as it was since it began.
