Most people are familiar today with the Japanese Haiku poem, and its 5-7-5 syllable adaptation in the west.

Tomas expands the genre here from its origional seasonal requirements, to encompass all areas that poetry can be written.

Indeed, some haiku poems that are written will be in Irish, and we also have graphics you can save and use on your website.

 

 

 

The bird who does sing
Does so not to entertain
But give a message

On calm evenings
We see the other side of
Winters harsh cold face.

Speak you no evil
And see you and hear the same
For a happy life

This man will make us
A better nation being black:
But so's Muga
be
