Clerihews are a new genre in which I have been dabbling, and while I do not view them as a serios part of poetry, but rather as part of the fun side of poetry, I post some here I have written.
On forum and blog posts in the Guardian I noticed some really good ones, and my efforts are not qiote as good, however, still I post them!!!An entire new vocabulary sprung up on that post for a reply or criticism of, and so forth, and it shows what the human mind is capable of when it is left to its own devices!!!
Development
Unlike the Hiaku which has developed from its seasonal and morae based structure, to date the Clerihew proper has not deviated much from the humersome and never negative structure that has brought it to us to the present day.
Here, my efforts change all that.Its nice to be nasty, especially when talking of the nitwits in power!
