We Know Not What
Tomorrow Holds

Poems by Topic ::: Poems in Irish

We live today in uncertian times
Of economic upheaval not before seen
In living memory, in our time
In such peril have we been.

Such times bring revolution
And wars and unrest
And we may find our humanity
IN coming years put to the test.

We gloated at the fall of communism
Unsustainable it we did call
Mocking we see is catching:
Now its capitalisms time to fall.

But what will replace it?
That we do not know,
We must live in hope and pray to God
And time, in time, will show.
