Song to the Sun

Poems by Topic ::: Poems in Irish

Welcome to the morning, to the night goodbye
And engulfed by the light you see that darkness has fled
The sun is rising from the lands of the east
And the moon is missing: presumed gone to bed.

Say hello to the sun, the giver of life
If the sun was a god, the earth would be its wife
And in its absence, it abandons us not...
His angel the Moon, lets us know were not forgot.
