Jimmy Johnstone was a man of his time, a genius with the ball, and a decent person who had fans right accross the divide.

A passionate supporter of research in to Motor Neuron Disease, the illness which took him, we were priviliged to have helped him in his cause.

He of couse was one of the Lisbon Lions, that great team that won in 1967, a feat celebrated to this day.

Jimmy was well known and liked by all that knew him, and is sorely missed by former team mates as well as by the fans.

The club were delighted to present our Book of Condolences to his family at Hampden Park following his death.
